Fedor Vladimirovich Emelianenko (IPA: ['fʲodər jemilʲja'nʲenkə], Russian: Фëдор Владимирович Емельяненко, sometimes romanized as Fyodor Yemelyanenko) (born September 28, 1976) is a Russian heavyweight mixed martial artist, the current World Alliance of Mixed Martial Arts heavyweight champion and the last holder of the PRIDE heavyweight championship.
Emelianenko has been considered the best heavyweight fighter in the world for the last five years by many major publications, including ESPN, the Orange County Register, The Fight Network, the Houston Chronicle, The Wrestling Observer, and Inside MMA. However he doesn't consider himself to be the best fighter.
He has won numerous tournaments and accolades in multiple sports, most notably the PRIDE 2004 Grand Prix and the World Combat Sambo Championship on four occasions, as well as medaling in the Russian national judo championships.

I admire his complete confidence without being arrogant his seems to a humble man. not like most in the ufc. he seems to the be the best fight i have had the pleasure watch.

I'm quite sure Fedor will make it to the UFC, he's going to have to at some point he's going to kill everyone else, and at that point he'll be in an even better negotiating position because he's mutilated everyone else. Period

No one has come close to touching Fedor. I have yet to see anyone come close to his fighting caliber.

Dana White needs to WAKE UP! Come on UFC. Let Fedor compete. The only thing that makes any sense is they dont want him there because FEDOR IS TO GOOD! Then Dana White knows he can not have Fedor kissing his ass all the time like the rest of the kiss ups at UFC. It appears to be his personal playhouse piggie bank of not the best fighters but advertising and money. And yes getting his ass kissed by the fighters. Ask anyone who knows anybody that fights for the UFC and they will tell you how stuff rolls. They will lie and tell you something else but one thing for sure if Fedor competes he will wipe the floor hands down with any MMA fighter anywhere.

I hope that one day Fedor Emelianenko is able to find his way into the UFC. This absolutely needs to happen so that his legacy is completed and his critics are silenced :).

Fedor is an unstoppable wrecking force. Nobody can touch him. He is the greatest fighter in any league, sanction or weight class to ever grace a ring with his presence. He's a beast!

GREATEST fighter ever and every knows it. He has just about murdered every heavyweight and he can still kill some more. FEDOR is best pound for pound fighter.
